Movie Review: Hotel Artemis

Hotel Artemis

Length: 90 minutes

Rating: R

Set in riot torn Los Angeles in the year 2028. Hotel Artemis follows a nurse played by Jodie Foster, who runs a secret, member-only emergency room for criminals. The rules of Hotel Artemis? No cops and no killing but it turns out, the rules, the other patients and even the nurse are going to have to break following the arrival of the city's biggest kingpin “The Wolf King” played by Jeff Goldblum.

I thought this was an entertaining/solid movie especially with all the remakes out there. This was a good, refreshing story.

Hotel Artemis was highlighted by the acting of veteran Jodie Foster, Dave Bautista (WWE and Guardians of the Galaxy) and Jeff Goldblum who does a great job playing a bad guy.

Other actors featured in the film include, Sofia Boutella who plays a bad ass female assassin, Charlie Day (it's always sunny in Philadelphia) as an arms dealer and Zachary Quinto (Star Trek) who plays the meathead son of Jeff Goldblum

.

This 90 minute film was nothing mind blowing but still a good date movie.

I give this 3.25/5 stars.
