Movie theaters, arcades, bingo halls and trampoline parks will be able to re-open in two weeks under the latest executive order signed by Governor Whitmer Friday.
The businesses have been closed for more than six months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement the Governor says the health of families and the economy are faring better than in other states and as a result, movie theaters and performance venues can reopen with strict safety measures in place.
Attendance will be limited, but in other cases, such as funerals, more people will be allowed at indoor gatherings.
A second order signed Friday requires all students in grades kindergarten and up to wear a face covering in classrooms
